Alma J. Beercook
Alma J. Beercook, 77, of Rochester Township, formerly of Beaver Falls, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 1, 2007, in her home.
Born April 20, 1929, in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Marlon and Ada Moore McCarty. She was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church and had been a sales clerk for 25 years at Klein's Card and Gift Shop in Beaver Falls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marlon, Emery, and Burt McCarty, and three sisters, Frances Agnew, Helen Thompson, and Joanne Sarver.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Edward M. Beercook Sr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Henry Hansen, and Frieda and Gary Orlowski, all of Rochester Township; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward M. II and Sandra Beercook, Industry; five grandchildren and their spouses, David and Jennifer Larson, Janet and Robert Switzer, Chelsea and Robert Holzworth, Derick and Paula Beercook, and Arnell Beercook; ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hill andkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. James Parkinson, officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.
