Marie Clerici Bellan, 89, of College Hill, Beaver Falls passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Providence Health Care Center.
Born October 27, 1922 in New Brighton, was a daughter of the late Gaetano “Guy” and Ambrogina (Lucini) Clerici. She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School and a long time member of St. Philomena Parish and Christian Mothers’. When St. Philomena’s school was open she volunteered for years with their SCIP program. She was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels and retired as a retail clerk for the former G.C. Murphy Co. in Beaver Falls. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, cooking and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick J. Bellan in 2000 and a brother, John Louis Clerici.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Tom Coleman, College Hill and Patti Bellan-Gillen and Vince Gillen, Burgettstown, PA; a loving grandson, Thomas Coleman Jr. and his wife Rachelle, Brighton Twp.; two great grandchildren, Nick and Peri Coleman; a brother, Fred Clerici, Patterson Heights and a sister, Helen Mentz, Beaver Falls.
Friends will be received Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philomena Parish, with Father James Farnan as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chippewa Twp.
