Dolores P. Beighley, 85, of West Mayfield, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born Aug. 16, 1924 in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Odell and Pauline Groves Carver. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls. During World War II she was employed for National Electric Co. and also Pittsburgh, Bridge, and Iron Company helping to contribute to the war effort. She was a former member of the auxiliary to the West Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Ned Carver, and a sister Beverly Thome.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry W. Beighley, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harry O. and Charla Beighley, North Sewickley Township, Vern and Carol Beighley, New Castle, Gary Beighley and his fiancé Sharon Petri, Wheeling, WV, eight grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Amy Beighley, Jill and Steve Sinclair, Nicole and Phillip Mitchell, Eric Beighley, Anne Beighley, April Beighley, Coleton Beighley, Forrest Beighley, seven great-grandchildren, Caroline, Paul, and Henry Beighley, Emily and Natalie Sinclair, Karsyn Mitchell, and Cali Beighley, and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Mag Carver, Zelienople.
Friends will be received Saturday from 3 until the time of the service at 7 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with Rev. Arthur Peters, chaplain of Friendship Ridge officiating.
Private entombment in the Beaver Falls Cemetery Mausoleum.
