Donald B. Aber Sr., 82, of Patterson Township, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born May 23, 1925, in Atlantic Highlands, N.J., he was a son of the late Harold and Mildred Bailey Aber. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Patterson Township and had retired from the Dravo Cement Corporation after 29 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Theresa Porto Aber; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Edward Chunchick, Asheville, N.C.; two sons, Donald B. Aber Jr., Patterson Township and Lutz, Fla., and Jonathan Aber, Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren, Kerry Falco and her husband, Adam, Mark Chunchick and Christine Chunchick, and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Luke Falco.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Paul D. Poole, officiating.

Interment will be private.
