Donald A. Young, 54, of Chippewa Twp. and formerly of West Mayfield, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born January 10, 1956 in Beaver Falls, was a son of the late Donald E. and Shirley L. (Beglin) Young. He was currently employed by the PA Turnpike Commission in the maintance department and is retired from U.S.Airways after 20 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Betty A. (Cline) Young, Chippewa Twp.; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Nikki Young, Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Kristi Young and her boyfriend,Rich Heibel, Carlsbad, CA; a brother and sister-in-law, and three nieces, Richard E. and Amy Young and their children, Ashley, Alyssa and Aricka, all of Brighton Twp.; a mother-in-law, Gertrude Cline, Chippewa Twp.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan and John Aldrich, Inwood, WV; four aunts, Brenda Minamyer, Negley, OH, Jean Beglin, Beaver Falls, Mary Walker, Vanport and Mary Ann Young, Chippewa Twp.; lifelong friends, Larry and Carla Weatherly, Rochester and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Young; a sister, Joyce Ann Young in 1992 and a father-in-law, Albert J. Cline in 2005.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 till 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,      www.hillandkunselman.com,     3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Frank Kantz, officiating.
