Dorothy “Dot” Young, 78, of Patterson Twp. and formerly of Big Beaver Boro passed away Mon., July 5, 2010.

Born August 27, 1931, in North Sewickley Twp., was a daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie (McCreary) Senior. She was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William W. & Lynda Young of Shippingville, PA and Dennis L. & Marjorie Young of Wampum; a daughter, La Vonne Young, with whom she resided; five grandchildren, Dennis Young II, Heather Geer, Rebecca Scobbie, Patrick  and HaiLee Young; two great grandsons, Dillon and Brody; two sisters, Erma Jean Svetlick of Darlington and Bernice Manypenny of FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Young in 1992 and two brothers, Raymond and Wayne Senior; and four sisters, Mary Goddard, Mildred Smith, Doris Dripps and May Shanor.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,       www.hillandkunselman.com    , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held  Friday at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Nancy Zahn will officiate.

Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Cemetery.
