Edna S. Pezzene, 94, of Country Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Fayette Township, formerly of Moon Township, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009.

  Born  Dec. 1, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Pezzene.   She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Hopewell Township.  She liked gardening and enjoyed the arts.  She had been a self-employed seamstress and had also been employed at a glass manufacturing factory in Coraopolis before her retirement.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Cora Pezzene in 1961. 

      Edna is survived by a cousin Loreen Goringe,  Burley, Idaho and a dear friend Angela Durr Stevens, Hopewell Township.

  Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at 11 a.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls.  Following the prayer service in the funeral home, there will be a procession to Our Lady of Fatima  Catholic Church, 4001 Brodhead Road.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. with Rev. Father Howard Campbell as celebrant.

    Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
