Eileen M. McCormick, 88, formerly of West 9th Street, Beaver Falls passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 in the Providence Health Care Center.

Born May 9, 1921 in Leetonia, OH, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Katherine Camille(Reichart) Firth. She was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church.

A very independent woman, she will always be remembered for her kindness and thoughtful gestures. She especially cherished time spent with her family. Known for her baking, she enjoyed sharing her pies with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McCormick in 1992; Son-in-law, John Grabowski and a brother, Charles Firth.

She is survived by three daughters, a son and their spouses,

Joyce & George Bingham, Savannah, GA; Janet & Joseph Ciganik, Levittown, PA; Melissa Grabowski, Cortland, OH and Paul C. & Cynthia McCormick, Lighthouse Point, FL. Eight grandchildren and their spouses, Beth (Bingham) Luke and  Jeff,

John Bingham and Karilee; Holly (Ciganik) McQuiggan and Christopher, Christa Grabowski, John Grabowski and Marianne,

Kathleen, Sean and Jazzamine McCormick; 11 ½ great grandchildren; and a very dear friend Natalie Volk, Beaver Falls.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 am in the

Riverview United Methodist Church, 1099 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pastor James Parkinson will officiate.

Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
