Evelyn J. "Ahoo" Davidson, 78, of Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in The Medical Center, Beaver, emergency room.
Born September 17, 1929, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Roy J. and Yarda (Sternquist) Davidson, she retired from Westinghouse in Vanport as a machine operator. "Ahoo" was an avid bowler and golfer, and was elected to the Beaver County Bowling Hall of Fame.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Roy J. Jr., William E., Robert E., John E., Charles G., and George Davidson, and a sister, Edith Yoho.
She is survived by a brother, Donald Davidson, Chippewa Township; two sisters, Helen Smith, Beaver Falls, and her twin Betty Pokita, Monaca, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Chris Noyes, of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
