Gary Lee Martin, 59, of South Beaver Township, and formerly of New Brighton for 22 years, died Wednesday February 13, 2008 in is home.

Born May 28, 1948 in Beaver Falls was the son of the late Leslie E. & Margaret ( White) Martin, he was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Conflict, Retired from Duquesne Light after 32 years of service,  a member of the New Galilee VFW Post 8106, member of the Homewood United Methodist Church and was an avid Hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Jean L. ( Blakely) Martin, a son Jesse L. Martin, South Beaver Township; a step-son Keith A. Tokar, Austin TX, two granddaughters Tasha & Meredith Tokar, a brother and sister-in-law David & Anna Kaye Martin, Enon Valley.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary McCann.

There will be no public visitation.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16th  at 1:00PM in the Homewood United Methodist Church, 127 First Street, Racine, PA 15010.  (  Route 18 North right before PA turnpike entrance beside Conley Inn).  The Rev. Nathan Carlson will officiate.
