Gennieve E. 'Jenny' Orosz, 87, of West Mayfield, died Thursday, August 23, 2007, in the Rochester Manor. Born March 18, 1920, in Beaver Falls, Pa., a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Ann Milowski Zdunek, she was a member of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church and had been a banquet supervisor at the Holiday Inn, in Big Beaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Orosz who died in 1994; a grandson, Justin Latshaw-Oeck, and two brothers, Leo and Zigmont Zdunek.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jolie and David Peck, Lower Burrell; a grandson, Kristopher Latshaw-Peck, Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Lindsay Peck, Koppel; a great-grandson, Jaden; a sister and brother-in-law, Sophie and Roger Soriano, West Mayfield; a sister-in-law, Carmella Zdunek, Brighton Township, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday, August 28, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,  3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited at 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in St. Philomena Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Steven M. Palsa as celebrant.
