Gloria M. Belle West, 83, of South Beaver Township and formerly of North Sewickley Township died Saturday April 24, 2010 in her home.

Born June 8, 1926 in New Brighton was the daughter of the late Boyd T. and Marie ( Cusick) Anderton, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, New Brighton, was a LPN in the operating room at the former Rochester Hospital, worked in the former medical office of Shugert, Belich, Segal, and Herald, and  in the mailroom at the Beaver County Times.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband James Belle, Jr in 1953.

She is survived by her husband Norman Edward West, two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda ( Belle) & Larry Marshall, Tequesta, FL; Jamie ( Belle) & George Pettibon, Cranberry Township; a grandson Evan James Pettibon , North Sewickley Twp, a step-son and his wife Harold & Sandra West, Beaver Falls, two brothers Chester T. Carver, West Mayfield and Paul C. Carver, North Sewickley Township and several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held for the family with Pastor Rita Platt-Anderson officiating.

Entombment followed in Sylvania Hill Mausoleum.
