Helen L. Corcoran, 85, of Chippewa Township, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in the Charlotte Regional Medical Center, Punta Gorda, Fla.

Born March 23, 1921, in Port Marion, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Martin Pingatore. She had been a homemaker and the secretary for Christ the Divine Teacher Roman Catholic Church for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Corcoran, in 1999; a sister, Mary Capparelli, and two brothers, Louis and Robert Pingatore.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and David Bell, Chippewa Township; their children, Alison Bell-St. John and her husband, Brian, Frederick, Md.; Brian Bell, Greentree; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Becky Corcoran, Punta Gorda, and their children, Ryan and Alec Corcoran, Punta Gorda, and Andrew and Stephen May, New Castle; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Julia and William Laska, Austintown, Ohio, and Josephine and James Young, Chippewa Township, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private visitation for the family in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunsel man.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at 10 a.m. in Christ the Divine Teacher Roman Catholic Church with Father Bill Wiethorn, O.F.M., Cap., officiating.

Private interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
