Helen M. ( Huston) Derringer, 84, of  formerly of Darlington died Wednesday April 29, 2009 in Friendship Ridge.

Born October 23, 1924 in New Castle, PA was the daughter of the late Frank L. &  Dorothy Marie ( Duncan) Huston.   She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Darlington; retired from Westinghouse Vanport after 25 years of service as an assembler; Member of AARP, volunteered for Meals on Wheels,  enjoyed the lottery, trips to the casinos, bus trips, gardening, and cooking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl E. Derringer, 1997; a brother Galen Huston, and a step-daughter Marilyn Nusser.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law,  Glenn McKim  & Debbie Kaczynski, Pittsburgh; Larry & Marlane McKim, Austintown, OH; Tim & Louise McKim, South Beaver Twp; and Tom & Carol McKim, Enon Valley: Two step-children Larry & Nancy Derringer, Darlington; and Ed & Carolyn Derringer, Rogers, OH .  28 grandchildren Michelle & Tim Domico, Patterson Twp; Marcie & Jeff Racki, Buffalo, NY; Lynn Funari, Enon Valley; Sherry & Ted Pekarchick, Lowellville, OH; Patricia & Edgar Cerezo, Bessemer; Rachel & Brian Warnock, Struthers, OH; Chris McKim, Los Angles, CA; Justin & Chantelle McKim, Winter Park, FL; Ashley McKim, South Beaver Twp; Thomas Matthew McKim, Pittsburgh; Michael James McKim,  his fiancé Ashley Burkett, East Palestine, OH; Holly Derringer, Chippewa Twp; Joe & Trisha Derringer, Darlington; John & LeAnn Derringer; Brighton Twp; Jeff & Whitney Derringer, Darlington; Sara & Brian Pease, Calcutta, OH; Shelby & Chris Sigler, East Palestine, OH; and Valerie Moskal, Ellwood City.

15 Great-grandchildren Amber & Alyssa Racki; Lily Domico; Michael & Mya Funari; Jordan Pekarchick; Sierra & Isabella Cerezo; Conor & Carmon Warnock; Izabella McKim; John & Joshua Derringer, Parker Pease and Dustin Moskal.  Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob & Jean Huston, GA and Don & Jean Huston, VA. . Several nieces & nephews.  And her beloved dog Joey.

Friends will be received  Sunday from 1-7PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, 15010, where a funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11:00AM with the Rev. David Sutton, officiating.

Interment will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery, Enon Valley.
