Harold E. McCormick, 89, of College Hill, passed away Sunday November 14, 2010, in his home.

    Born  October 30, 1921 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Robert & Grace ( Ginzel) McCormick. He was a member of College Hill Presbyterian Church ,  a retired crane operator  of the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products, Koppel; a US army veteran of WWII and received the Purple Heart. Member of the American Legion Beaver Falls, the West Mayfield Vets and former member of the Retired Men’s Club.

  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Viola E. ( Kerestes) McCormick, October 12, 2009. an infant brother Bobby and a brother Ted McCormick.

  He is survived by a brother & sister-in-law Richard & Evelyn McCormick, Columbus, OH; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Doris & Andy Proya, East Palestine, OH and Virginia & Harold Reid, Patterson Twp; two sisters-in-law, Irene Kerestes & Delores McGee, both of Beaver Falls, and his niece and care taker Karen Scott, Beaver and numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

  

   Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801-4th Avenue,  College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held        

Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. his pastor, The Rev. Dennis D. Burnett officiating.

   Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.

Members of the Veteran’s Honor Guard will meet Wednesday at 11:30AM at the cemetery to provide military honors.
