Jane Tait Schoaf, 83, of South Beaver Township, passed away Sat. March 6, 2010.

Born Feb. 18, 1927 in Wilkinsburg, PA was a daughter of the late George Alfred and Margaret E. (Gower) Tait. She was a member of New Salem Presbyterian Church, South Beaver Grange,  Tuscararwas Garden Club and a 4H Club leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Schoaf who passed away in Aug. of 2008; an infant daughter, Melissa Jean Schoaf; a brother, Robert Tait and a sister, Margaret Scott.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Rebecca and Frederick Hood, Industry; Lisa and Gary Fryer, Enon Valley, and Cynthia and Larry Clendennen, South Beaver Township; six grandchildren and their spouses, Edwin James Hood, Clayton Jared Hood, Emily Fryer and Craig Miller, Todd Fryer, Nathan and Nicole Clendennen, and Drew Clendennen; two brothers, Jack Tait, Pittsburgh and Ralph David Tait, Greensburg, PA and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Nelson, Wilkinsburg, PA.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,   www.hillandkunselman.com    , 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hills, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hill Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
