Janet C. Spohn, 96, of North Sewickley Township died Monday August 2, 2010 in Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born December 28, 1913 in West Monterey, PA was the daughter of the late Frank &  Louise ( Waterson) Colwell. She was the owner and operator of the former Charmaine Beauty Shop in Beaver Falls and Janet’s Beauty Shop in North Sewickley Township, attended the Otterbein United Methodist Church, was a former member of the Surbaban Women’s Club in North Sewickley Township and was an avid golfer at Stonecrest and Blackhawk Golf Courses.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward M. Spohn, April 6, 1998; a son William J. “Bud” Berkey, 1994; two brothers Roy & Paul Colwell; three sisters Sarah Jane Ehrenberg,  Mabel Milnes, and Ethel Colwell.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Karen & Victor Fabiani North Sewickley Township; a grandson and his wife, Mark & Kristin Fabiani, Chippewa Township, and a great-granddaughter, her angel Natalie Fabiani; a sister and brother-in-law Agnes & Elmer Horn, Patterson Twp. and numerous nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2:00PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hilllandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, with Pastor Mark Ongley officiating.

Inurnment was in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Rochester, PA.
