Jean M. Boger, 85, of Chippewa Township, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008, in the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 27, 1922, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Curry McCarter, she was a member of the Steffin Hill United Presbyterian Church. She was a retired secretary from Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products and the Keystone Drilling Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Boger, in 1997, and a brother, Fred Leaf.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Prudence Boger, Chippewa Township, and William Boger, Lexington, Ky.; a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Steven Copeland, Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Joshua and Shaun Krut, Audrey Stafford, and Amanda, Rachel and Richard Boger, and a great-grandson, Mason Lee. She is also survived by three brothers, Charles Leaf, Brighton Township; Donald Leaf, Darlington, and William Leaf, Baden, and two step brothers, Bob Runyon and Buddy Run-yon, both of Crestline, Ohio.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hilland kunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Moslener will officiate.
Interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
