John Mihalcin, Jr. 89, formerly of Hopewell Twp. died Thursday November 18, 2010 in Franciscan Manor, Patterson Twp.

Born June 2, 1921 in West Aliquippa, was the son of the late John, Sr. & Mary ( Komar) Mihalcin.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, retired as a millwright in the Blooming Mill of J & L Steel, Aliquippa and a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary ( Ragela) Mihalcin, three brothers Andrew Kmetz, George & Robert Mihalcin and a sister Anna McCabe.

Surviving are two sons & daughters-in-law, John A. & Patricia Mihalcin, Chippewa Twp; and Kenneth R & Rosalie Mihalcin, Chippewa Twp.  Four grandchildren Matthew and his wife Sarah Mihalcin, VA; Andrew Mihalcin, Adam Mihalcin, and Kelsey Mihalcin, all of  Chippewa Twp; and a brother Mike Mihalcin, CO.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4PM & 6PM until time of service at 8PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.  Pastor Sean Walters will officiate.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Rochester, PA.
