John Dzan

John Dzan, 80, of Beaver Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in the Providence Care Center.

Born Aug. 8, 1927, in Ambridge, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Palupcik Dzan. He was a Roman Catholic and had been a draftsman at the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Charles Dzan, and a sister, Elizabeth Veshio.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Field Dzan; a brother, George Dzan, Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and George Dankocsik, Moon Township, and Helen Keserich, Center Township, and several nieces and nephews.

A blessing service will be held today at 10 a.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with Rev. Father Steven M. Palsa officiating.

Private interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
