Joseph S. Primerano, 88, formerly of College Hill, Beaver Falls, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Duluth, Georgia.
Born September 19, 1921 in Serra San Bruno, Italy, he was the son of the late Ralph and Rose (Rainelli) Primerano.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was retired from Armstrong Cork in Beaver Falls as their head electrician. He was a member of St. Philomena Parish, the Holy Name Society, American Legion Post #261 and the Sons of Italy, all of Beaver Falls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary D. (Florida) Primerano in 2003.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Adele Rose Primerano, Pittsburgh and Marian and Joseph Lucia, Duluth, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Leigh Primerano, Houston, TX; four step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; four nieces and three nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,      www.hillandkunselman.com    , 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philomena Parish, Father James Farnan will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.

The Veterans Honor Guard will conduct full military honors Wed. at 11:15 a.m. in St. Mary Cemetery.
