Keith W. Caldwell, 83, of Hobe Sound, FL, formerly of West Mayfield and Connecticut, died on Saturday in Florida.

        He was the son of the late Douglas and Inez Shorey Caldwell.  He was a teamster and drove a delivery truck for the oil and gasoline business.  He was raised a Baptist.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

            He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law,  Karen and Thomas Goe, Hobe Sound, Florida, a son and daughter-in-law  Kevin and Virginia Caldwell, Manchester, Connecticut, four grandchildren also survive.

    No public visitation.

      A private service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory Cox, pastor of the College Hill United Methodist Church officiating.

      Private interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Moon Township.
