Lois R. Moffatt, 79, of Perry Township, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010 in her home.
Born March 26, 1930 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Nye and Elizabeth Wimer Nye Mathes and step-daughter of the late Willis Mathes. She was a homemaker and she loved gardening and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Moffatt, Sr. in 2001 and a sister Dorris Gongaware.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Robert R. Moffat, Jr. and his wife Dixie, New Port Richie, FL, Sharyn Miller and her husband Rex Miller, Sr., Apple Valley, CA, Debra Recce and her husband Mark Recce, Brenda Navolio and her husband Iggy Navolio, all of Ellwood City, nine grandchildren, Chantelle Moffatt-Blue and her husband Eric Blue, Dustin Moffatt, Rex Miller, Jr., Curtis Robert Miller, and Rachyl Elizabeth Miller, Kera Recce and Tamra Recce, Breonna Navolio and David Navolio, a great-grandson Jaden Moffatt, and a sister Betty Lloyd, Apple Valley, CA.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com. , 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rich Byerly, pastor of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Wurtemberg Cemetery, Wayne Township.
