Margaret T. Beres, 91, of Villa St. Joseph and formerly of West Mayfield, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born Nov. 3, 1917 in Cannonsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Bartu) Galco. She was a member of St. Philomena Parish.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Beres in 1975; two brothers, Steve and Frank Galco, and a sister, Elizabeth Galco.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Larry McDaniels, West Mayfield; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Nancy Beres, West Mayfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Olga and George Stancik, College Hill; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kim and Marc Smith, John and Debbie Beres, Amy and Richard Young and Kristy and Scott Little; nine great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of prayers at 12:30 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hilland kunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. in St. Philomena Catholic Church, with Father James Farnan as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
