Mark L. Mason, 58, of Ellwood City, passed away in his home on Thursday, July 2, 2009.
    Born June 18, 1951 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Leslie and Clara Mae Cowie Mason.  He served in Vietnam in the U. S. Army from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1971.  He was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church and had retired from New Castle Industries where he had been a lathe operator.  Previous to his employment there, he had been an employee of the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister Cindy Mason. 
    He is survived by his wife of 36 years,  Connie Bradshaw Mason, a son Bradley Mason, Baden, a daughter and son-in-law,  Jodi and Nathan Weister, South Beaver Township, four grandchildren,  Bret and Ethan Mason, Joshua and Michael Weister, three brothers and a sister-in-law,  Raymond and Penny Mason, Alabama, Rick Mason, Panama, Randy Mason, Florida, a very close friend Drew Kirsch, Panama, an aunt Wilma Tindall, a cousin and her husband Connie and Ronald Sano, all of South Beaver Township,  and several nieces and nephew.
  Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com.,  3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls.  The service will be held on Monday  in the Concord United Methodist Church with viewing in the church from 10 until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with the Rev.’s Brad Neel and Thomas Kennedy officiating.
    Private interment will follow in Concord Cemetery.
    The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the church on Monday at 11:20 a.m. to conduct full military rites.
