Martha J. Wilson, 84, of Friendship, formerly of New Brighton, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008.

Born August 21, 1924 in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Glenn E. and Iva Folk Wilson.  She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in New Brighton.  Martha had been employed at Jay’s Booterie, Enelow Shoes, and for the former Kaufmann’s in Rochester before her retirement.

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, C. Dale Wilson, Bernard F. Wilson, and a sister Joan  Jerome.

  She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law,  Glenn E. and Mary Wilson, Patterson Township, and several nieces and nephews.

Martha’s wishes were to be cremated and she did not wish to have any visitation.

Interment will be private.
