May (Ohnezeit) Frumen, 94, a long time resident of Beaver Falls and currently of McCandless Township, passed away Thursday July 15, 2010, in Shadyside Hospital.
Born May 17, 1916, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Henry August and Ethel (Bender) Ohnezeit. A veteran of the United States Navy Waves, she served during World War II as a nurse in the San Diego Naval Hospital and was a member of the Singing Waves. She was a graduate of Robert Morris School of Business and a lifelong member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Robert and Nancy Frumen, Staunton, VA; her daughter, Maureen L. Frumen, Pittsburgh; her daughter and a son-in-law, Michele and Timothy Browse, Bristol, England; four grandchildren, Briony and Daniel Twidle and Caitlin and Luke Conflenti.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth (Ohnezeit) Schrecengost, in 2006.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, her Pastor, Rev. Kim Rapczak officiating.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.

Member of the Veteran’s Honor Guard will meet at 11:00AM at Grandview Cemetery to conduct military honors.
