Margaret 'Monnie' Craft
Margaret "Monnie" Craft, 80, of Beaver Falls, died Monday, March 26, 2007. Born October 17, 1926, in North Sewickley Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Esther Zirock Kimmel. She was a member of the College Hill Presbyterian Church, where she served as a trustee for three years. She was a longtime volunteer with the Beaver Falls Meals on Wheels program. She had relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 12 years, where she served as manager of the Hearthstone Condominium Association. She had previously owned and operated the Bun-Nanza Restaurant in Darlington for 12 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Ketterer, Betty Anspach, Dorothy DiMarzio, Delores Arkwright and Esther Kondrsuk, and a brother, Billy Kimmel.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, David C. Craft; a son, Bruce Howard Craft, Birmingham, Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Pecoraro, Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Jeffrey David Craft, Winston-Salem, N.C.; three grandsons and two granddaughters, Mark and Micah Pecoraro, Las Vegas, Nev.; Jeffrey Larson, Pittsburgh; Julie Guss, Sewickley, and Cassie Craft, Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister, Patricia Figurel, Ellwood City; three brothers, James and John Kimmel, both of Ellwood City, and Joseph Kimmel, New Castle; several loving nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hilland kunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis D. Burnett, officiating.
