Nell E. Bayne, 76, of North Sewickley Township, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in the Kindred Hospital. Born April 19, 1931, in Rochester Township, a daughter of the late Alan and Dorothy McKenna MacDonald, she was a member of the College Hill United Methodist Church and had been a member of the administrative board of the church, College Hill Women's Club and the Riverside Lion's Club. Nell was a licensed practical nurse and had been employed at the former Providence Hospital from 1955 to 1979 and then was employed at The Medical Center, Beaver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Lewis R. "Sonny" Bayne, on May 3, 2001, and a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Leonard Javens.

She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Alene and Donald K. Burns, Chippewa Township, and Jane and Eugene DeChicko, College Hill; five additional sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Jean Murphy, Canton, Ohio, Esther and Ernest Blythe, in Florida; Carol Kain and Linda Bayne, both of East Palestine, Ohio; Mary Ann Estermeyer, Patterson Township; several nieces and nephews and their spouses, Joseph DeChicko, College Hill; Judy DeChicko, New Brighton; Joyce and Chester Ciccozzi, Beaver; David and Debra Burns, Darlington; Daniel Burns, Beaver Falls; Donna Hoblack, Mandeville, La.; Margaret D. Javens, Kathryn and Donivan Woods, all of East Palestine; Denise Javens, East Liverpool, Leonard and Anna Javens, Beaver, and two great-nephews, Cole and Blake Ciccozzi.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Gregory Cox officiating.

Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
