Nellie M. Rose Roser
Nellie M. Rose Roser, 89, of Cambridge Village, formerly of College Hill, died Monday, March 19, 2007, in Cambridge Village. Born August 17, 1917, in Beaver Falls, She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Howarth Schaefer. She was a very active member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and had retired from The Medical Center, Beaver. Nellie was very involved with her family and their activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William C. Rose in 1956, and John W. Roser in 1968; a grandson, Jason Wienhold; a brother, Paul Schaefer, and two sisters, Ruth Mucicka and Alice Bennett.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Theodore and Rosemary Rose, Charleston, W.Va.; William and Mary Ann Rose, Moon Township; Carolyn and Frank Weinhold, Topeka, Kans.; Nancy and Larry O'Keefe, Peters Township; Mary and Robert Bittner, and Lou and Jimme Pryor, all of College Hill; 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Rose, Barbara Ann Abel, Theresa Lynn Hurban, William Charles Rose, Rosemary Winland, Theodore A. Rose, David John Rose, Anne Marie Kuchera, Frank Earl Weinhold, and Christine and Lisa O'Keefe; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter, and a brother, Arthur Schaefer, New York, N.Y.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 22, 2007, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman. com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 409 Eleventh Street, Beaver Falls, with her pastor, the Rev. Richard J. Leseganich, officiating.
Private interment will take place in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
