Margaret E. Fencil (Nana), 88, of Chippewa Twp., formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013.

She was born on November 3, 1924, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Albert and Catharine (Miller) Thumm. Margaret was a lifelong member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls where she was previously employed as the church secretary and volunteered at the Soup Kitchen. Margaret retired as a teller from Beaver Falls Saving and Loan and Liberty Bell Savings and Loan.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Fencil in 1980; a brother, Albert Thumm; an infant brother, Richard Thumm, and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Thumm.

Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Maribeth and James Masquelier, Cooperstown, PA; a granddaughter, Hollie; a brother, William Thumm, Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Phil Inman, Beaver Falls; a sister-in-law, Nancy Thumm, Beaver Falls; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Vera Fencil, Beaver, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Elmcroft of Chippewa for the love and care that enhanced her life during the past year and a half. They are also appreciative of the compassion and medical expertise provided by Dr. Jason Rodriquez and his staff at Trinity Family Practice and Dr. John Lehman at ASP Orthopedics.

Friends will be received Saturday from 11 a.m. till the time of service at 1 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. Pastor Kimberly Rapczak will officiate.
