Plummer Allen King, 78, of College Hill, Beaver Falls passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010, after an extended battle with cancer.
Born December 11, 1931 in Coolspring Township, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Foda King.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sondra B. King of Beaver Falls; four sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas A. and Loretta King of Stafford VA, Christopher J. King of Pittsburgh, Curtis J. and Liliana King of Honolulu, HI, David P. King and Shannon Engle of Beaver Falls; four grandchildren, Gregory, Catherine and Paul King all of Stafford, VA and Marcos King of Honolulu, HI and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. King was a graduate of Stoneboro High School in PA and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was retired from the Duquesne Light Company where he was employed for 40 years. He was an active member of the IBEW Local 140, where he served as vice president and financial secretary, a board member of the Duq-Lite Employees Credit Union and a member of the College Hill Presbyterian Church and Parian Lodge No. 662, F. & A. M. and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Galvin, Paul, Gerald and Henry King, a sister, Jane, a niece Peggy King Lucyk, a nephew David “Bud” King, and a great niece Lynn Gargasz.

Friends will be received Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 till time of service at 2:30 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, his pastor, The Rev. Dennis D. Burnett will officiate.
