Raymond L. Pieri, 79, of New Galilee, died Wednesday November 25, 2009 in the Beaver Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, South Beaver Township.

Born December 11, 1929 in Crabtree, PA was the son of the late Joseph & Theresa ( Deberini) Pieri, he was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C Church, retired from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products after 37 ½ years of service; was honorably discharged from the US Army on March 6, 1950, and was a member of the VFW Post #8106, New Galilee.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mildred D. ( Butler) Pieri, and his children Linda & Kenny McConahy, Newark Delaware; Jan See; Darlington; Raymond & Mimi Pieri, Kona, Hawaii; Frank Pieri, New Brighton; Robert & Sheryl Pieri, Pulaski, PA : Thomas and Alice Pieri, New Galilee; Patrick & Lynn Pieri, New Galilee, and Gary Pieri still at home; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Delores See, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Friends will be received Sunday from 4-8 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.  Where prayers will be recited at Monday at 9:15AM followed Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima, R. C. Church, 3357 Constitution Blvd, Darlington, PA   with Fr. James B. Krah as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
