Roy A. Diehl, 85, of Chippewa Township died Wednesday April 30, 2008 in the Medical Center Beaver.

Born November 11, 1922 in Dormont, PA son of the late Adam & Alice ( Doehla) Diehl,  he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, retired from Babcock & Wilcox Eastworks,  was a member of Chippewa United Methodist Church & Beaver Falls American Legion Post 261.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Margaret ( Sturman) Diehl,  son & daughter-in-law Donald R. & Janet Diehl, Darlington Township, a daughter & son-in-law, Diane J. & Kevin Lewis, London Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren Chelsie Holoweiko, Columbus, OH; Emily Exon, &  Amanda Lewis, both London Ontario, Canada; two step-grandsons A. Aaron Stewart, Littlestown, PA,  & Adam Stewart, Nashville, TN; a brother Glenn & Lora Lee Diehl, Bonita Spring, FL and numerous  nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Diehl.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls.   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Chippewa United Methodist Church, 2545 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, with Pastor Rodney E. Smith officiating.

Entombment will follow in Beaver Falls Mausoleum, Chippewa Township.

Beaver County Special Unit will meet Saturday at 10:30 at the cemetery to provide full military honors.
