Shirley A. Boren, 71, Aliquippa, formerly of Darlington, went to be the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in the Medical Center Beaver.

        Born March 10, 1937 in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late David “Red” and Alma Pizer Boren.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Christ Church at Grove Farm in Sewickley. 

          She is survived by her husband, Dr. Elliott T. Shinn, Aliquippa, two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas J. and Patty Horn, Gainesville, VA,  David E. and Carol Horn, San Diego, CA, a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal L. and Charles Wissner, Chippewa Township, her grandchildren Tyler and Timothy Horn, Gainesville, VA,  Matthew and Julie Horn, Albuquerque, NM, Holly and David Amesse, San Diego, CA,  Randy and Ayesha Crawford, Bristow, VA, Ryan  and Emily Crawford, Erie, PA, two great-grandchildren, Tacoma and Taylyn Horn, Albuquerque, and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Harry Vander Velde, Toronto, Ontario.

          Friends will be received Monday, June 2, 2008 from 2 until 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. There will be an additional visitation on Tuesday June 3rd from 10 until 11 a.m. in Christ Church at Grove Farm,

249 Duff Road, Sewickley, PA 15143 with Rev. Barry Mariana officiating.

        Private interment in Little Beaver Cemetery, Enon Valley.
