Thelma S. Haggart, 94, of Beaver Falls, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
Born Oct. 4, 1912 in Chester, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel Scott Swearingen. She was a member of Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township. She had been a member of the Century Club, College Hill Women’s Club, and a former member of the auxiliary to the Salvation Army.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Haggart in 1996.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and William Mills, Chippewa Township, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Patty Haggart, North Sewickley Township, six grandchildren and their spouses, Heather and Mark Denes, Center Township, Brian and Jennifer Mills, South Riding, VA, Anne and Chad Powers, Canal Winchester, Ohio, Lisa and Greg Ottaviani, New Castle, Christopher Haggart, Chippewa Township, James Haggart, North Sewickley Township, eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlyn, and Connor Denes, Abagail and Braden Mills, Emalee Powers, Nicolas and Aliya Ottaviani.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Victory Family Church, 21150 Rt. 19, Cranberry Township, with Pastor John Nuzzo officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
