Theresa V. (Porto) Aber , 87, of Franciscan Manor and formerly of Patterson Township, died Friday, January 16, 2009 , in The Medical Center, Beaver.

Born July 27, 1921, in Beaver Falls, was the daughter of the late Charles & Mary ( Greco) Porto. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Patterson Township, played in various card clubs and was a volunteer  for 34 years with the Medical Center Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband

Steve Puskich, 1945, her second husband  Donald B. Aber, Sr. on June 17, 2007 and a sister Josephine Soltes.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Edward Chunchick, Asheville, N.C.; two sons, Donald B. Aber Jr., Patterson Township and Lutz, Fla., and Jonathan Aber, Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren, Kerry Falco and her husband, Adam, Cranberry Township, Mark Chunchick , Melbourne FL and Christine, and her husband Greg Paul, Cranberry Township and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Luke Falco; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles & Grace Porto, Beaver Falls, Benjamin & Betty Porto, Ormond Beach, FL, and Richard & Kathy Porto, College Hill. Two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Capo, Land O’Lakes,  FL and Rosalie & Samuel Thayer, Zelienople.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7-9PM in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held on Wednesday  at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Paul D. Poole, officiating.

Interment will be private.
