Theresa Bonomo
Theresa Marie (Martinelli) Bonomo, 84, of Chippewa Township, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Kinder Hospital, Heritage Valley, Brighton Township. Born March 6, 1923, in Beechview, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elisa (Lunardini) Martinelli, she was a member of Christ the Divine Teacher Roman Catholic Church. She retired from Bell Telephone as an operator and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Bonomo, on Nov. 4, 1993; a sister, Mary McMullen, and a brother, John Martinelli.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Debbie Bonomo, Monaca; a daughter, Pamela Veon and her special friend, Karl Nystrom, Patterson Township; a daughter, Linda Shawger and her fiancé, Steve Kovach, Rochester; eight grandchildren, Tim Bonomo and his wife, Nicole; Kellie Bonomo; Brian Bonomo and his fiancée, Katie Tyson; Jenna Bonomo, Christopher John Veon, David Anthony Veon, Alex Kuntupis, and Erika Shawger; three great-grandchildren, Manuel Davison, Mahkaila Bonomo and Ella Bonomo; loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, special lifetime fiends, Nancy Chick, Ruth Brewer and Shirley Pierce.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Christ the Divine Teacher Roman Catholic Church with Father Robert M. Franco as celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Beaver Falls Mausoleum, Chippewa Township.
