Vincenzo “Vince” Ferraro, 77, of Big Beaver, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 in his home.
          Born March 11, 1930 in Reggio Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Domenico and Maria Rovero Ferraro.  He was a member of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Parish.  He had been employed for Ryan Homes where he had built trusses for 13 years and then he was employed at Armstrong World Industries for 13 years at the Beaver Falls facility.  Vince loved to take care of his family.  His hobbies were making homemade wine, he was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed his pet duck “Don”.
       In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Michele, Guiseppe, and Pasquale Ferraro.
     He is survived by his wife Rosina Perri Ferraro, two daughters and a son-in-law, Maria and David Panella, Sr.,  Chippewa Township, Teresa Ferraro, at home, a son and daughter-in-law, Antonio and Heather Ferraro, Chippewa Township, seven grandchildren, David Panella, Jr., Armand Panella,  twins Gina and Arica Panella, Anthony Ferraro, Carlo Ferraro, and Alyssa Ferraro, all of Chippewa Township,  a brother Domenico Ferraro, and two sisters, Teresa Monteroso and Concetta Piccolo, all of Italy.
     Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls,  where prayers will be recited on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Steven M. Palsa as celebrant.
Entombment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, Chippewa Township.
