Viola J. Smiley, 72, of New Castle died Thursday, December 31, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Walter Elmer Langer, New Castle; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Smiley, TN; a daughter and her life companion, Becki Evans and Mandy Arnold, IO; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Andy Telford, FL, and two sisters, Benetta Cox, New Brighton, and Mary Anzio, Beaver Falls.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Larry Telford.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Salvation Army Citadel, 414 16th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, Major Richard Lyle, will officiate.
