William H. “Bill” Hamilton, 81, of Beaver Falls, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010.
Born Oct. 23, 1928 in Horton Twp. was the son of the late Ralph T. and Mabel (Force) Hamilton. He spent his early life in Falls Creek, PA (Jefferson County) where he attended Beechwood High School. He then served or country in the United States Army, during World War II, stationed in Italy. He worked for the next 20 years for the former 7 Up Bottling Company in Beaver Falls. Later retiring as a beverage salesman for Paul’s Beverage in New Castle.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW New Galilee Post 8106.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria E. (Ritchey) Hamilton, Beaver Falls, whom he married May 13, 1948; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Russell Harsh, Beaver Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Linda Hamilton, Long Beach, CA; four grandchildren and their spouses, Eric & Laura Harsh, Beaver, Kelly Harsh and her fiancee Jeff Manning, Beaver Falls, Bill & Viviana Hamilton, CA and Wesley & Natisha Hamilton, CA and eight great grandchildren.
He dearly loved his grandchildren and was so very proud of all their achievements.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Evelyn.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Janet D. Harsh, loving friend and neighbor, for her constant care and companionship.
Friends will be received Saturday from 11 a.m. till time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,    www.hillandkunselman.com     , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, Rev. Joseph Hill will officiate.
Private interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.

The Veterans Honor Guard will conduct full military honors at the funeral home Saturday at 12:45.
