William O. McLean, 87, of Cambridge Village, formerly of Beaver Falls, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 in the Medical Center Beaver.

    Born March 21, 1921 in Fredricksburg, VA,  he was the son of the late John S.and Stella McLean.  He had been head of the advertising department of the former News Tribune for over 30 years before his retirement.  He was a graduate of Kiski Preparatory School, Geneva College, and the University of Pittsburgh.

      Bill is survived by a very dear friend, Patricia Sasic, White Township and another close friend William “Bill” Briggs, Patterson Township.

       There will be no public visitation. 

        Private entombment in the Beaver Mausoleum.
