William “Bill” E. Roberts, 87, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Jan. 8, 2009
    Born May 6, 1921 in Koppel, he was the son of the late Charles and Marie Richner Roberts.  He had retired in 1983 from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company with 43 years of service.  He served his country for 31/2 years  during World War II in the U.S. Army, 451st Army Engineers, and was awarded two bronze stars, Victory Medal, American Campaign Metal, and the European-African – Middle Eastern Campaign Medal.
     He was preceded in death by a son William Wayne Roberts and a brother Charles Roberts.
    Bill is survived by his loving wife Norma Jean Parsons Roberts,  his best friend Alex Nicholas Tita, and Marcy Lynn Tita, a daughter Doris, a sister Elizabeth McElfresh and his uncle and lifelong friend and buddy Thomas Gilbert Roberts of Fort Wayne, IN.
               Bill will be missed by all that knew him.
  A private visitation was held on Friday in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com.,  3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls.
   Interment followed in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
