Angelina “Vivian” Palka, 96, of Chippewa Township passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Beaver Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on August 12, 1923 in Beaver Falls to the late Paolo and Giovanna (Zaffaroni) Clerici. Vivian was a member of St. Monica Parish. After retiring from the Bakery Department of the Rochester Giant Eagle she worked at Subway in Chippewa. She was an avid word search seeker and enjoyed crocheting blankets for the family.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Ann Betke, Georgetown, Claudia and Anthony Cananzi, Chippewa Township and Claudette and Charles Ranshaw, Daugherty Township; seven grandchildren, Joseph Betke, Jeffrey Betke, Christine Lawson and Robb, Anthony Cananzi and Jill, Alison Infield and Thomas, Shane McNutt and Amy and Corey Ranshaw and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Clerici and two sisters, Louise Uslenghi and Lorraine Casciato; a son-in-law, Harry Betke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Monica Parish, Chippewa Township, with Father John Naugle as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
