Charles H. Kennedy, 93, of Covington Skilled Nursing Facility in East Palestine, Ohio, formerly of Big Beaver Borough, died Monday, October 21, 2019.

Born October 23, 1925 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late J. Herbert Kennedy and Frances Stanley Kennedy.  He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp.  He was a member of the Chippewa United Methodist Church and The Challengers Sunday School Class.  He had been employed at Townsend Corporation where he had been a draftsman and had retired from Standard Steel Specialty Company where he had been a foreman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, June Mansfield Kennedy on February 14, 2017, and his sister, Dolores McCandless.  

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, C. Robert and Leslie Kennedy, Austin, Texas, a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael Frum, East Palestine, Ohio, two grandchildren, Kimberly Wagner and her husband Jarrett, Big Beaver, Ryan Frum and his significant other, Gretchen Barnhouse, Columbiana, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls.  The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allan K. Brooks officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.
