Donald R. Bradow, 94, of Patterson Township, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
Born November 25, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Estelle Uselton Bradow. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1943, a graduate of Geneva College with a B.A. degree in education, and he received his Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He had retired from the Freedom Area School District where he had been a teacher and then the middle school principal until his retirement in 1988. He had been a very active member of Riverview United Methodist Church, a Sunday School Teacher, and a Youth Leader. Don had served as a Patterson Township Commissioner from 1977 until now.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha McClane Bradow on April 17, 2016, a brother, Jack Bradow, and a sister, Betty Jean Futato.
He is survived by three daughters, Rev. Karen Booth and her husband Rev. Randall Booth, Janesville, WI, Deborah Grady and husband Dennis, Chippewa Township, Dawna Pella, Ellwood City, his grandchildren, Alison Blair and her husband Nathan, Michael Pella and his fiancée Danielle Gilliard, Owen Pella, Matthew and wife Sheue Pella, Mia and husband Rob Kalchthaler, Michele Tirpak, James Grady, his great-grandchildren, Rowan Blair, Madeline Pella, Molly McGuire, Daphne McGuire, Alexis and Tyler Tirpak.
As per his wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private family visitation was held in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. Private interment in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
