Edward E. “Gene” Elliott

Beaver Falls

Edward E. “Gene” Elliott, 76, of Beaver Falls, died Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born November 19, 1942 in Hopwood, PA, he was the son of the late Russell and  Ella Lee Durmon Elliott.  He was a longtime member of the Rogers Assembly of God and a member of the Zelienople-Harmony Sportsman Club.  He had been employed at the former Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Company in the Cold Draw Department, Hot Finish Department and on the interplant railroad.  After the closure of B & W he moved to New Jersey and was maintenance man at a large church there. He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carol Woleslagle Elliott,  his children and their spouses,  James Elliott, Florida, Shawn Elliott, Beaver Falls, Tammy and Tim Hall, New Castle, John and Tarra Elliott, East Palestine, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four sisters, Linda Kennedy, Barbara Prasco, Cindy Eaton, Pamela Jackson, and a brother, Lee Elliott.

There will be no public visitation.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Rogers Assembly of God Church, 8251 Sprucevale Road, Roger, OH 44455.  His pastor, the Rev. Kenneth P. Sevacko, Jr. will officiate.  Interment will be private.
