James P. (Jimmy Diesel) Rhodes

James P. (Jimmy Diesel) Rhodes, 56, of Darlington, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at home with his family by his side after a long, almost two-year battle with cancer.
Born November 22, 1962 in Rochester, he was the son of the late J. Scott and Nancy Sanders Rhodes. He was a self-employed truck driver having driven for McClymonds Supply and Transit Company, PNM Trucking, Bevington Trucking and had been owner and operator of James P. Rhodes Trucking. Jimmy loved trucking all his life and going to truck pulls and watching his friends pull.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeri and Keri.
He is survived by his sister Teri (Tuffy) and her husband Clinton (Skip) Hall, Jr. His pride and joys who he loved deeply were a niece Courtney and her husband Michael Lopez, a nephew, Landon Hall and his girlfriend Natalie Gratteri, and a great-nephew and great-niece, Tyler and Brielyn Lopez.
A special thanks to Chris “Honey” Weber, also his caregivers at Gallagher Home Health and Hospice, to the wonderful staff at Liberty Dialysis that became family to him.. Also, Dr. Thomas Slokan and Dr. Medwick and the kind wonderful nurses and staff at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. And finally, his blessed Angel Susie Q Householder, who gave him peace, and praying with him to ease his transition home.
As per James request, there will be no viewing. Only his beloved family goodbyes at home. Private interment in the Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
