Janice Bacon Obituary

Janice Rosalie Bacon

Beaver Falls

Janice Rosalie Bacon, 81, a long time resident of Beaver Falls, PA fell asleep in death the evening of August 22, 2019 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on January 16, 1938, and was the daughter of Prudence Geneva Allen (Thomas) and Charles Allen, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Harrison Bacon (88) who survives her at home in Beaver Falls, PA. Janice was a faithful and baptized member of the Beaver Falls Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses until the end of her life.  She held the hope of a scriptural promise of a resurrection to everlasting life, with perfect health, on a paradise earth, under the rule of Jehovah God's Kingdom.

Janice enjoyed singing, dancing, spending time with her family and friends and especially teaching others about her God, Jehovah, and his Son, Christ Jesus. She will always be remembered for her strong and caring heart and the unconditional love that she showed. Her warm embrace and kindness was felt by all of whom came to know her. She lived her life by the phrase, "Never Give Up."

Besides her husband, Harrison Bacon, she is survived by her sister, Brenda Harriel (Thomas) of Beaver Falls, PA, daughter, Prudence Elizabeth Bacon-Benson and her fiancé, Douglas Plumm of Calcutta, OH, sons, Spencer Chaz Bacon and his wife, Karen of Beaver Falls, PA and Jules Spencer Chaz Bacon and his wife, Karen of Midland, PA.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl, Robert, William, Harold and Donald Thomas and her sisters, Louise Altman, Betty Jane Thomas, Barbara Alexander and Joanne Thomas.

PS. 23: 1-4: Jehovah is my Shepherd I will lack nothing. In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; He leads me to well-watered resting-places.  He refreshes me. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of his name.  Though I walk in the valley of deep shadow I fear no harm.

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 3122 – 37th Street Extension, Chippewa Township, Beaver Falls.  Private interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
