Mir Psik, 86, of New Brighton, died Monday, December 9, 2019.

Born December 3, 1933 in Velka, Czechoslovakia, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Malecik Psik.  He was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1951. Mir was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from Reliable Motor Parts with over 35 years of service.  He was a devoted family man and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death of 59 years, Kathryn L. Samek Psik on February 20, 2018.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lynn Psik, Williamsport, PA, Gregg and Joy Psik, Butler, David and Denise Psik, Wampum, four grandchildren, Andrew Psik, Kristen Psik, Jennifer Psik, Jonathan Psik, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Carole Psik, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Eva and Forrest Douglass, and Mildred and Edward Matuga.
As per his wishes, there will be no public visitation and he will be cremated. Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
